Saturday, June 20, 7:00 pm: Brendan Evans plays a program of guitar music centered around works by Augustin Barrios and Manuel Ponce - a set of waltzes full of virtuosic and melodious springtime energy, followed by an extended meditation on the Medieval musical schema La Folia. Join Cape Ann Guitar Society in the beautiful St. Anthony's by the Sea for an evening recital by founder Brendan Evans, playing music he has performed and studied extensively alongside first performances of new repertoire.
